Hi! I'm Madeleine and if you don't get it yet, I'm a multi-hyphenate... I don't think I need to choose yet just to do one thing, as I'm in the habit of enjoying the view! So, when did I get each hyphen (and do they ever go away?)
Actress since a Denver Center Performing Arts class at age 6.
Puppeteer since a summer around age 9.
Playwright and Screenwriter of absurdism blossomed with my American Culture degree at Vassar College.
Theatermaker by default that I wanted to do it all.
Tutor since 2011; loving connecting with young people still!
Clown since the workshop obsession began in 2016; thank god I figured that one out.
Filmmaker when I borrowed a camera and set out to make a hybrid narrative doc for the Total Eclipse of Summer of 2017. Odea of the Moon.
Producer just happened.
Yoga teacher since 2018, though I've been practicing since I was 14.
First AD since I saw Malcolm Thorndike Nicholson do it so effortlessly/miraculously when I hired him with The Sac Chich Project and then made it my goal to cut my chops as a PA.
